HW Novel Submissions due Friday!



    After the bell rang, we came into class, sat down, took out our binder reminders, and wrote down our daily agenda. While we were writing, Ms. Nakada put on the take a minute video. After we wrote the agenda and took a minute, Ms. Nakada told us to take out our English notebooks and turn to page 24. We wrote down the song this week which was, "Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story?" by Lin Manuel Miranda from Hamilton. After writing down the song for this week, Ms. Nakada put on the song so we could listen to it. After we were finished listening to the song, Ms. Nakada told us what the song is about and its story. We wrote what she wrote in our English notebooks. We also wrote down what the tone was like and our favorite lyrics.

    After we were done, we then went back into our table of contents and wrote Inside Out and Back Again on number twenty six of our table of contents. It was a book by author Thanhha Lai. We were gonna read the book starting today, and so, we all took a book. We turned to page 26 of our English notebooks and Ms. Nakada told us that we were gonna be figuring out what the poems are in the book. After we were done, the bell rang, and we left for our sixth period class.

 Agenda Take a minute blog/corrections week 6: Lines School Trip  ACE Readers/Writers workshop  HW Read another 100 pages  of your book by Monday 9/22. After the lunch bell rang, we went to our fifth period. As we entered the class, Ms. Nakada greeted us, and we sat down. We took out our binder reminders and wrote down the agenda. After that, Vlada and Natalie read their blog. Afterwards, the class took out their English notebooks and started to write everything down that Ms. Nakada told us to. Next, we took out our SCHOOL TRI P books and started recapping and writing down stuff in the book. After we were done, Ms. Nakada told us we won pizza for everyone being here. Then, the bell rang, and we went on to our 6th period.

Anibal and Mateo's Seventh Blog.

AGENDA take a minute blog corrections week 7: LINES lit circles essays HW Essays due 3/4 Read toward IRP Goal! We all walked in and took our agendas out and started writing the agenda down. After we finished writing the agenda Jazlyn and Emilie came up to present their blog. After they finished presenting the blog they had to choose someone to come and work on the next blog. Then Jazlyn chooses Anibal to come and work on the blog and Anibal chooses Mateo to come and help on the blog with him. Ms. Nakada then told us to take our notebooks out so we can write everything down that she writes. Ms. Nakada then passed a paper around so we can glue it onto our paper in our English notebook. She then played a video so we can listen to what the lady was saying. After the video was over we all took notes then the bell was about to ring so we all packed up to be dismissed after the bell.
