Poetry Slam Prep

HW Poetry Slam Tuesday 


We sat down and took out our agenda. Then, Iris read the blog and chose Anibal and Anibal chose Ayoob to help him.  Then, we started taking notes and copying everything down that Ms. Nakada was writing.  then after that we started talking about a book and Ms. Nakada started explaining what the story was about and how the dad in the book wanted his daughter to marry someone she didn't want to marry at all. Then, we packed up and left.

A few minutes after, we read our poems of the day. After, we had the rest of class to write our poems.

 Agenda Take a minute  blog correction reader's/writer's workshop week 17 grammar/ quote novel gallery week  HW complete I.O. & B.A. by Friday The bell rang, and we walked into class. We sat down, and then we started to write our agendas. Then, Ms. Nakada gave us time to do our week 16 quiz and gave time to people who needed to do their novel submissions. Next, we started to work on our novel cover. After, we started to pack up to go home, and then we went home.

 Agenda Take a minute blog/corrections week 6: Lines School Trip  ACE Readers/Writers workshop  HW Read another 100 pages  of your book by Monday 9/22. After the lunch bell rang, we went to our fifth period. As we entered the class, Ms. Nakada greeted us, and we sat down. We took out our binder reminders and wrote down the agenda. After that, Vlada and Natalie read their blog. Afterwards, the class took out their English notebooks and started to write everything down that Ms. Nakada told us to. Next, we took out our SCHOOL TRI P books and started recapping and writing down stuff in the book. After we were done, Ms. Nakada told us we won pizza for everyone being here. Then, the bell rang, and we went on to our 6th period.
