week 7: Lines

School Trip A.C.E

HW: Finish books by Monday 9/29


The students lined up next to the door, waiting for Ms. Nakada to open the door. As they waited, they  saw Ms. Nakada and Ms. Everts walking down the hall. Soon after, Ms. Nakada got to the classroom door and opened it so the students could go in. Afterwards, they sat in their seats. Some kids took out their  binder reminders to write the agenda down. As the bell rang, the other kids took out their binder reminders and English notebooks. Afterwards, Ms. Nakada played a video to calm us down. 

Then, Kelly and Rosy read their blog. After, Kelly picked Jazlyn to do the blog. Jazlyn picked Iris to help her. After, Ms. Nakada and the students did the blog corrections. They started to open their notebook to write week 7:lines. This weeks the lines are "Invisible Fish" by Joy Harjo, which is about the future. Then, they started to talk about the lines.

After, they wrote  what happened in School Trip. They started to do the A.C.E. It was very quiet. After they backed up, the bell rang, and left to their next class.

 Agenda Take a minute blog/corrections week 6: Lines School Trip  ACE Readers/Writers workshop  HW Read another 100 pages  of your book by Monday 9/22. After the lunch bell rang, we went to our fifth period. As we entered the class, Ms. Nakada greeted us, and we sat down. We took out our binder reminders and wrote down the agenda. After that, Vlada and Natalie read their blog. Afterwards, the class took out their English notebooks and started to write everything down that Ms. Nakada told us to. Next, we took out our SCHOOL TRI P books and started recapping and writing down stuff in the book. After we were done, Ms. Nakada told us we won pizza for everyone being here. Then, the bell rang, and we went on to our 6th period.

AGENDA take a minute blog corrections week 7: LINES lit circles essays HW Essays due 3/4 Read toward IRP Goal! We all walked in and took our agendas out and started writing the agenda down. After we finished writing the agenda Jazlyn and Emilie came up to present their blog. After they finished presenting the blog they had to choose someone to come and work on the next blog. Then Jazlyn chooses Anibal to come and work on the blog and Anibal chooses Mateo to come and help on the blog with him. Ms. Nakada then told us to take our notebooks out so we can write everything down that she writes. Ms. Nakada then passed a paper around so we can glue it onto our paper in our English notebook. She then played a video so we can listen to what the lady was saying. After the video was over we all took notes then the bell was about to ring so we all packed up to be dismissed after the bell.
