My fifth period came into class after lunch and settled into new seats. I welcomed everyone, and students wrote down the agenda. Then, we took a minute. B.R.E.A.T.H.E. I passed out the course outlines, and we read through it together. We discussed materials for the class, rules, grades, and keys for success. Then, we went over the syllabus and all that we will be reading, writing, and learning this semester.  Then, we watched a quick video about lettering, and everyone started a name card.  We discussed the blog, and, let's be honest, it was a mess. We didn't decide on a name at all. I tried to read my first day letter, but it was a little difficult because people were laughing at my letter. Before long, class ended and the the first day of fifth period was check, done!
