  Agenda take a minute blog correction week 11: Lines NaPoWriMo HW: Have a great last Academy Day The bell rang and we all came into class. We sat down in our seats, took out our binder reminders, and wrote the agenda down. Then, we took a minute. After that, Sebastian went up to read his seventh blog. After he finished reading his blog, he picked Iris to write her seventh blog, and Iris picked Valeria to write it with her. Next, everyone took their notebooks out and started to write the grammar for this week. Then, we watched a clip of the Dickinson movie for the quote. After, we wrote down the question "How do you feel about poetry?".  After writing down and answering the question, we took notes on the lines of this week by Howard Nemorov. After the bell rang, we packed up and all left for sixth period.

 Agenda Take a Minute Blog Corrections Reader's/Writer's Workshop Binder Reminder/Summary Check Week 10: Quiz HW: Read toward your IRP goal The bell rang. We came into class, sat down, and took out our binder reminders to write our daily agenda. While we were writing, Ms. Nakada put on the take a minute video. After we finished writing in our binder reminders, and finished taking a minute, Ms. Nakada gave us time to do a Book Project Gallery Walk.  Next, we took out our chromebooks to do the week 10 quiz. While we were doing the quiz, Ms. Nakada looked at our binder reminders to check if we did our agendas and summaries. After she was done grading our binder reminders, and all other missing work we have, the bell rang, and we left for sixth period.

 take a minute blog corrections week 10 song lines book project gallery week hw read toward your IRP goal  We walked into class and sat down. Then, we wrote the agenda after vlada and Natalie came in front of the class and read their blog after they finish reading their blog they picked Rodrigo, after Rodrigo picked Micheal to come do the blog with him then, we wrote the lines and we took our book project out, After Ms. Nakada started to grade our book project. after she gave us time to work on our book project for the people that didn't finish, then we pack and went to 6th period.

 Agenda take a minute blog/corrections dual enrollment presentation week 10: song reader's/writers workshop HW Read toward your IRP goal Last Book Project Due 3/19 The bell rang for the fifth period. We all came into class. Then, we wrote in our agendas. Next, Vlada came up and read her blog. Then, she chose Natalie to do the blog, and Natalie chose Vlada to do it with her. Then, we took out our notebooks and started writing down the Dual Enrollment notes. Next, Ms. Nakada started talking to us about how you can be in high school and do college at the same time. Then, Ms. Nakada turned on the song "Hair Down, Stand Up" by KCT. After we were done, we took out our books for a book project and did them. Then, the bell rang, and we all left for the sixth period.  👀👀👱😂👿👾👽👵

 Agenda    Take a minute blog/corrections week 9: Song reader's workshop HW Read towards your IRP goal. Last Book Project Due 3/19 The bell rang. Everyone came in and took out their agendas while Ms. Nakada was turning on the take a minute. After that, I got picked to do the blog next. Then, all of us took out our notebooks to write down everything about the song "9 to 5" by Dolly Parton, and Ms. Nakada talked about the song. Next,  we took out our books for Reader's Workshop and read them for 20 minutes. Then, the bell rang everyone packed up and left for their sixth period.

Anibal and Naela's Seventh Blog

 Agenda Take a minute blog Corrections week 9 Grammar/Quote  Reader's workshop The bell rang, and we all walked into our fifth period and took a minute. After, we took our agendas out to write our take a minute. After everyone was done writing the agenda down, Ms. Nakada then told Rosy and Kelly to come up and present their blog. Then, after Rosy and Kelly finished reading their blog, they  picked Naela, and Naela picked Anibal to come and work on the blog with her. Ms. Nakada then made us take our English notebooks out so students could write all the information that she was writing. Ms. Nakada then waited for everyone to quiet down so they could read their books. Ms. Nakada then told everyone to take books out and read for 16 minutes. Later, the bell rang, and they all packed up and left for sixth period.

 Agenda  Take a minute Blog ~ corrections  Week 8: Lines ~ Quiz  Reader's workshop  HW: Read toward your IRP goal.  Last Book Project due 3 /19 The bell rang, we took a minute, and wrote down our daily agenda.  After, Janet and Ella went up to read their seventh blog. After they finished, they picked Rosy, and she asked if Kelly could help her. Later on, after we did blog corrections, we took out our English notebooks and started writing down our lines of the week. After discussing the lines, we took out our Chromebooks to take the week 8 quiz. After everyone finished the quiz, we got into the readers workshop. Not many minutes after, the bell rang, and we packed up to leave to our sixth period.

 Agenda  take a minute  blog/corrections  week 8: song  reader's workshop  HW Read towards your IRP goal  The bell rang. After,we sat down and took out our binder reminders to write the agenda down. After writing the agenda down, Ms. Nakada puts on the take a minute. Then, Andy and Alex read their blog. Once Andy and Alex finish reading their blog, they pick Janet  to do the blog and Janet picks Ella to  help her do the blog. After, Ms. Nakada says' "Take out your English notebooks." Then, she played this week's song called "The Man" by Taylor Swift. After, Ms. Nakada tells the whole class to take out their essays so she could collect then. Then, the bell rang, and we all left for our sixth period.

Andy and Alex's Seventh Blog

 agenda  Take a minute  blog corrections  week 8 questions  lit circle essays  The bell rings, the class sits down, and takes a minute to calm down. Ms. Nakada tells the class to take out their notebooks, and we started taking and writing in our notebooks about the weeks question: "What does gender equity look like in our school?" We talked about how the dress code is racist and gender biased and how it targets girls more. After, Ms. Nakada told us to take out our literature essays, and the class started writing. After a while, the bell rings, the class packs up, and we all leave.

Andy and Alex's Seventh Blog

 agenda  take a minute  week 8 grammar / quote  lit circle essays  The bell rings. The class sat down and took out our binder reminders. Jimmy and Keller read their blog and chose Andy. Andy asked Alex to help and they got started. We started our grammar notes about in text citations. The quote is: "No one is your friend who demands your silence or denies your right to grow." Alice Walker. After, Ms. Nakada told us to take out our essays and we worked on them for the rest of the period.

After everyone was done writing the agenda, Ms. Nakada told Anibal and Mateo to come read their blog. When they were done, they picked Jimmy and Keller to do the blog. Next, we did the quiz and the literature circle essays. Then, the bell rang, and we all left.
